Edward J. Campbell
Edward J. Campbell worked in the ADM oils group and had a significant contribution to moving the industry to NuSun. He and a representative of Frito Lay challenged the National Sunflower Association (NSA) membership in a 1995 meeting to make adjustments to the fatty acid structure of sunflower oil. He chaired the NSA NuSun Committee which systematically eliminated challenges and hurdles to the introduction of NuSun over the course of seven years. Edward was active in many food related national organizations and was able to introduce NuSun to a wide group of influential people. He assisted in designing the Penn State research which further defined the health attributes of NuSun sunflower oil.
