Sharpen (Kixor)
When to Apply
When sunflower seed moisture is 36 percent or less.
Remarks
For optimum desiccation an adjuvant must be used such as methylated seed oil or crop oil concentrate. Sharpen can be tank mixed with one or more labeled herbicides such as Glyphosate. Apply at least seven days prior to harvest. This is not a restricted use pesticide.
Valor® SX & Valor EZ+ Herbicide
When to Apply
Apply when the backsides of sunflower heads are yellow and bracts are turning brown and seed moisture content is less than 35%.
